Super friendly staff and one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had! The breakfast burrito is half covered in gravy and half covered in green chili and has there crispy hashbrowns inside. Whenever I'm in Salada I'm going to try to stop for breakfast/brunch!

After reviewing the reviews of previous reviewers, we decided to give Patio Pancake Place a try. The generally good reviews peppered with occasional bad experiences cautioned us away from some dishes, and we enjoyed friendly service from the time we were seated until we finished our meal. The food was quite good. It felt like IHOP, but with better ingredients and a bit of a homestyle touch. I really enjoyed my veggie omelet with cheese, and the hash browns were pretty good too. The pancakes were excellent, with the right balance fluffiness and flavor. One of our orders came out way overcooked, with the eggs and bacon both cooked into flavorlessness. The rest of our party enjoyed their food, and the generous portions ensured nobody walked away hungry. I would recommend a visit to the Patio Pancake Place if you enjoy breakfast food served quick.
We were on our way to Telluride and looking for a place to eat breakfast. Patio Pancake Place was just a block away from our hotel, so we decided to try it out. It was super busy, but luckily we were able to get a table. I ordered Breakfast Special #4. It came with two eggs and I was able to choose which meat I wanted. I decided on the three slices of bacon. Other options were homemade German or Italian Sausages, a slice of ham, two pork chops, two sausage patties, three sausage links, or three slices of Canadian bacon. I was impressed that they offered homemade sausage and also that they had such a variety of meats to choose from. With my special, I also chose pancakes and hash browns. It was a lot of food for the price, but I was super hungry and ate the whole thing! It was delicious. Also, I wanted to note that the waitress was very attentive. She asked me if I wanted my pancakes brought out fresh after I had eaten my bacon and eggs. I was impressed with the customer service.
Fantastic breakfast spot right off HWY50 in Salida. I actually read it was sold and might be closing soon, but the place was PACKED on a Friday morning so I hope that just means new owners that keep it as is. At any rate, enjoy it while it lasts! Big portions. Stick to your ribs food. Friendly service. Standard breakfast food, but everything is homemade and delicious. Highly recommend.
